IFCLA Conference 2022

Konferenssin järjestäjä IFCLA (International Federation of Computer Law Associations) on kansallisten IT-oikeuden yhdistysten kansainvälinen liittomuotoinen kattojärjestö. IT-oikeuden Yhdistys on mukana avustamassa konferenssin järjestelyissä.

The tradition of IFCLA, the International Federation of Computer Law Associations, and the roof top organization of several local IT law associations across the world, including ours, is to arrange an international conference on the most topical themes around IT law on a biannual basis.

The latest "physical" IFCLA conference was arranged in Paris in 2018, but due to the pandemic, the Barcelona 2020 conference was postponed and arranged as a hybrid event aired from Barcelona in fall 2021.

Now, we are happy to inform you that the IFCLA 2022 conference will again be arranged as a physical event, taking place this summer in Helsinki, Finland on 16th-17th June at the historical Hotel Kämp on Pohjoisesplanadi. Further, we are also looking to arrange the event also as hybrid allowing the possibility to join the event remotely for those who still prefer social distancing.

The theme of the conference is Sustainability and Legal Compliance in Digital Transformation. The program will cover interesting perspectives to sustainability and legal compliance, provision of resilient legal systems, data markets and digital ecosystems, international data transfers, AI and ethics, as well as cybersecurity and cyber resilience, and many more!

We look forward to meeting you at the event, exchanging views on cutting edge questions within the IFCLA community and in addition to participating in the conference, also celebrating with us the 35th anniversary of IFCLA at a gala dinner on Thursday night, June 16th!
